Privacy Policy

1. Overview

DigiCFO is developed and published by Abyay Banerjee. This Privacy Policy explains how the DigiCFO mobile application handles information. DigiCFO is designed to operate locally on your device without a DigiCFO account or cloud service.

2. Information DigiCFO does not collect

The app does not transmit to or collect for the developer your financial accounts, transactions, balances, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, budgets, plans, profile details, or other information entered into the app.

The current version does not use developer-operated analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking, cloud storage, or account-creation services.

3. Information stored on your device

Information you enter into DigiCFO is processed and stored locally on your device. Because the developer does not receive this information, the developer cannot view, recover, correct, export, or delete it remotely.

You are responsible for protecting access to your device and maintaining any backup created through DigiCFO.

4. Device and platform services

Your device operating system, Apple, an application marketplace, or a device-backup service may process information independently when you download the app, make a purchase, submit diagnostics to the platform, or back up your device. Those services operate under their own privacy policies and settings.

Any App Store payment or subscription is processed by Apple. DigiCFO does not receive your complete payment-card or bank-account details.

5. Support communications

If you voluntarily email support, the developer will receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to provide. This information is used only to respond to and resolve your request, maintain necessary support records, and protect the app and its users.

Do not send passwords, PINs, full card numbers, complete bank statements, or other information that is not necessary for support. You may request deletion of a support communication by contacting the address below, subject to any legal or security retention requirement.

6. Data sharing and sale

The developer does not sell or rent personal information. Information voluntarily supplied through support may be processed by the email service used to receive and answer your message and may be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.

7. Data retention and deletion

Financial information remains on your device until you edit or delete it, reset a profile, or remove the app, subject to any device or external backup you control. Deleting the app may permanently delete local data.

Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, record-keeping, or legal purposes.

8. Children's privacy

DigiCFO is not directed to children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

9. Security

DigiCFO limits privacy risk by keeping financial information on the device. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so you should use device security controls, keep the operating system updated, and safeguard exported backups.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when DigiCFO's features or legal obligations change. The effective date will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the app, this page, or the applicable store listing where appropriate.
